Art lovers can unleash their visual taste buds here on Salt Spring Island during our new Fine Art “Visual Tasting” Tour. Salt Spring’s new self-guided walking tour will be unveiled in Canada’s number one art town, Ganges Village on May 16, 2008. A cultural experience awaits those with an eye for art in mediums as diverse as canvas, stone, gold, wood, metal, clay or even the photographic arts. You’ll discover something for every taste and in every price range.

The new fine art ”tasting tour” – a self-guided excursion using a map -circles the island’s leading art galleries. You will be exposed to national and internationally recognized artists as well as emerging names. Take in the island’s scenery knowing a cultural experience can be plotted with a one-day ‘taste’ or viewed over the course of a week.

Salt Spring Fine is an endeavour sponsored by Saltspring Island’s fine art galleries, the Salt Spring Arts Council, as well as our performing arts centre, ArtSpring. Come to Salt Spring Island, where life is art.
